The Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) recently announced the list of athletes who will be representing T&T this year. TTOC stated that the selected athletes embody the spirit of determination, skill, and national pride as they prepare to compete on the global stage.

The national contingent will comprise 17 athletes which includes seven women and ten men across three sporting disciplines; Athletics, Cycling, and Swimming. These athletes were selected based on their outstanding performances and dedication to their respective disciplines which landed them their qualifying spots.

Alongside javelin ace and two-time Olympic medallist, Walcott, will be Olympian and World Championship medallist Jereem Richards, together with veteran sprinter Michelle-Lee Ahye, cyclist Nicholas Paul, and T&T ace swimmer Dylan Carter.

TTOC’s President Diane Henderson said, “We are thrilled to unveil the Trinidad and Tobago team for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games as well as the partnership with the IOC’s TOP partner Deloitte & Touche.”

She said, “These athletes have shown incredible resilience and passion in their pursuit of excellence. They only have just a few weeks before the start of the games, which I am sure they will utilise to sharpen their skills and proudly represent our nation on the international platform.

“Having the support of Deloitte & Touche’s Sponsorship at this time is of great importance to us.”

The TTOC extends its gratitude to all supporters and sponsors, as well as all other stakeholders whose unwavering support has been instrumental in preparing the team for this prestigious event.
