RUSH Sports gets FIFA’26 World Cup broadcast rights for the Caribbean

Caribbean Premier Sports Ltd (CPSL), which operates the RUSH Sports Network, has partnered with IRIS Sport Media in a major deal to secure exclusive media rights for the FIFA World Cup 2026 across much of the Caribbean.
The agreement will make RUSH Sports a key regional broadcaster for the tournament, offering a tailored viewing experience designed specifically for Caribbean audiences.
The partnership introduces a flexible, multi-platform broadcast model across the Caribbean. Unlike traditional one-size-fits-all deals, it combines premium pan-regional coverage, selected match broadcasts for different markets, free-to-air options in some territories, and expanded mobile and streaming access through the RUSH Sports Network.
The strategy is designed to reflect diverse viewing preferences across the region, with countries like Jamaica receiving a curated mix of live and delayed matches to balance access and premium coverage.
CPSL CEO Michael Look Tong described the agreement as a major breakthrough for sports broadcasting in the Caribbean.
“The FIFA World Cup is the biggest sporting event on the planet, and our mission is clear, and that is to bring Caribbean fans closer than ever to the drama, passion and energy of the tournament,” Look Tong said. “Through RUSH Sports, we are building a uniquely Caribbean broadcast model that combines premium coverage, regional reach, digital accessibility and strategic free-to-air partnerships.”
Santiago Sluzewski Monti, Senior Consultant & Partner of IRIS LATAM Sport Media, added, “CPSL’s regional reach, technical capabilities and understanding of Caribbean audiences make them an excellent partner to deliver the tournament to fans throughout the region.”
RUSH Sports’ FIFA World Cup 2026 coverage will go beyond live matches, offering a wide range of supporting content. This includes preview programmes, match replays, analysis shows, fan engagement activities, and Caribbean-focused storytelling, alongside strong digital and social media integration to enhance the overall viewing experience.
