Ahye will team up with veteran Reyare Thomas, Leah Bertrand, Reese Webster and Taejah Badal for the women’s 4x100m.

Ahye, the 2018 Commonwealth Games women’s 100m winner, and Thomas helped T&T to bronze at the inaugural World Relays in 2014. They also claimed 4x100m bronze for T&T at the 2015 World Outdoor Championships.

Frederick is also among those picked for the men’s 4x100m race with Jerod Elcock and Eric Harrison, and Omari Lewis, the fastest local male sprinter for the 2024 season so far, completing the line-up.

The World Relays will be the main qualifying meet for this year’s Olympic Games in Paris, France from July 26 to Aug. 11.
