Regional, international women for CPL and 6IXTY

A blend of regional and international players have been confirmed for the Massy Women’s Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and the Massy Women’s SKYEXCH 6IXTY, with the best players from across the region joining up with overseas stars from South Africa, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and the USA.
Both tournaments will take place at Warner Park in St. Kitts, with the SKYEXCH from Aug. 24 to 28 and the Massy CPL running from Aug. 31 to Sept. 4.

The three teams will be captained by Haley Matthews (Barbados Royal), Stafanie Taylor (Guyana Amazon Warriors) and Deandra Dottin (Trinidad Knight Riders) and each squad will have three overseas spots with players from South Africa,Pakistan, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and the USA.

The Royals will feature Pakistani bowling allrounder, Fatima Sana who has played 40 times for her country. Sana was part of Pakistan squad that took part in the recent concluded Commonwealth Games tournament in  Birmingham.
Joining Sana at the Royals is  South Africa all-rounder Thloe Tyron , who brings a huge amount of experience to the Barbados franchise having played 174 times for her country.
Among the  female overseas female players are US -19 bowler Snigdha Paul, Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu, who has played in over 200 international, South African seamer, Ayabonga Khaka and 16-year-old Isani Vaghela of the USA and New Zealand bowler Hayley Jensen. South African Captain Sune Luus and USA Geetika Kodali will be joining the Knight Riders.
