Market chronicles – packing the bag

Whilst on a trip to the market last week with a friend:
Friend:  Why are you unpacking the bag to put in  the cassava and plantains?
 
Me:                        I was taught to put the heavy, sturdy
                                things at the bottom of the bag and the
                                tender, lighter things at the top.
 
Friend:  Oh ho… makes sense.
