MEXICO CITY,  (Reuters) – Huge crowds gathered across Mexico today to oppose a government drive to shrink the independent electoral authority, arguing the changes threaten democracy, in what appeared to be the largest protests yet against President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador’s administration.
