Happy Father’s Day events around New York

Several Father’s Day events are planned across the New York area to make the day special for the caregivers who will be entertained at concerts, brunches, paint & sip experience, brunch cruise, and more.

Starting on Saturday, June 16, Warren G – One of Brooklyn’s Queen Wicked Chef will host a Father’s Day celebration from 9:00 p.m. till 4:00 a.m., at Monday’s Hall, 2002 Fulton St., Brooklyn.

Father’s Day come “black” to comedy show will take place on June 18, at Garden 54, 314 East 54th St., Brooklyn, NY 11203. Doors open at 5:00 p.m., show time is 6:00 p.m. Food and drinks will be served for enjoyment. This event is dedicated to all fathers across the nation. Joy and laughter will spread throughout the entire event.

Father’s Day celebration/Juneteenth Summer Series Social will be held on June 17, at the Gia NoMaya, 510 Flatbush Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11225. The 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. event will bridge the gap across the diaspora by promoting the advancement of black unity, black business, black freedom and black leadership through the celebration of black fathers and their contributions to future generations.

In partnership with TheBlackManCan, the group will facilitate a dialogue to raise awareness of how the community comes together to change the stigmas surrounding blackness and fatherhood alongside Sean Williams of the Dad Gang, Roots of Brooklyn, and the brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.

The Guyana United Youth Development Association of New York, Inc. (GUYDA) is pleased to announce its highly anticipated Father’s Day Brunch that will take place on Sunday, June 18, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This remarkable event will be held at the Grace Deliverance Tabernacle, located at 650 Remsen Ave. (Corner of Avenue A), Brooklyn, NY 11236.

Father’s Day Brunch is an extraordinary occasion for families, friends, and the community to come together and honor the important role that fathers, and father figures play.

With a commitment to empowering the youth in Guyana, GUYDA has organized this event to support their ongoing efforts, including a Literacy program, Clean Water initiative, and various other community activities that would benefit the youth of Guyana.

Men of Honor Father’s Day event on June 18 will be held at Mingles Ultra Lounge, 4012 Boston Rd., Bronx from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Father’s Day Bacon and Bowties Brunch will take place on June 18, from 11:00 p.m., at the Historic Old Bermuda Inn, Veterans Road, W. Staten Island.

A Father’s Day Sip & Paint Experience will be held at Brooklyn Paints, 1134 Broadway, Brooklyn. The June 18 event from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., will bring fun to dads and give the gift of creativity.

Kings County Comedy will bring laughter to fathers on June 18, from 8:00 p.m. to 10 p.m., at the East Ville Comedy Club, 487 Atlantic Ave., Brooklyn.

Tracie’s Father’s Day Soiree will entertain fathers on June 18 from 8:00 p.m., at Pawty Time, located at 84 14th St., Brooklyn.

The World-Famous Harlem Gospel Choir will be in concert for a June 17 Father’s Day special, at the Blue Note Jazz Club 131 W. 3rd St., New York, NY. Show time is 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

NYC Premier Father’s Day Brunch cruise will take place on June 17, from 12:00 p.m. The boat will set sail from Pier 36, 299 South St., NY. Fathers will be treated to the ultimate summer voyage: a gourmet brunch in the middle of New York Harbor.  The sail will take fathers under the Brooklyn Bridge, and pass the New York skyline for epic city views.
