KTLA TV reported that Snoop Dogg is standing in solidarity with those on the SAG-AFTRA and WGA picket lines. The owner of Death Row Records canceled two shows that were to be performed at the Hollywood Bowl to celebrate the emcee’s 20th anniversary of his debut album “Doggystyle.” Snoop posted on Instagram, “We regret to inform you that due to the ongoing strike and the uncertainty when this will be over, we need to cancel the Hollywood Bowl show.” The “Doggfather” continued, “We stand in solidarity with all our brothers and sisters in the WGA and SAG-AFTRA during this difficult time and remain hopeful that the AMPT will come back to the negotiating table with a REAL proposal and we can all get back to work.” The shows alongside Dr. Dre have been rescheduled to October due to the writer’s strike.
NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal was spotted soaking up the sun on a yacht with friends off the coast of Mykonos, Greece, on July 26, as he followed his fellow basketball legends’ leads such as Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan and vacationed on the Mediterranean, according to the Daily Mail. The General spokesperson, who also raps under the name of DJ Diesel, is currently on tour. He has already performed at Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas, the Governor’s Ball in the Big Apple, and a 4th of July party in his home state of NewJersey. Shaq also hit Ibizia, and Croatia earlier this month. He returns to Las for another show on July 29.
Tongues are wagging that Cee-lo Green was recently in Cincinnati, Ohio, for a performance with R&B songstress Tweet. The Crazy crooner was spotted being pushed in a wheelchair through the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport as he was leaving town on July 23. A source exclusively tells Go With The Flo that an airport attendant attempted to give Green VIP treatment and wheeled him to the front of the TSA Pre Check line, but security made him go through general access because he didn’t have the coveted travel status.
Bounce TV’s newest hit series “Act Your Age” was expected to wrap its record-breaking first season on Saturday, July 29 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. The 16-episode first season, starring Kym Whitley and Tisha Campbell, with special guest Yvette Nicole Brown, produced in partnership with MGM premiered in March and was seen by 2.14 million viewers in its debut telecasts, making it the most-watched half-hour series launch in Bounce history and the No. 3 new comedy of the season, alongside NBC’s Night Court and Lopez vs. Lopez.
