 On July 11, at The Metrograph in the Big Apple, Netflix hosted the premiere of what is being dubbed as the hottest upcoming summer series, Survival of the Thickest, which debuts on the streaming network July 13. Cast members in attendance included Michelle Buteau, Garcelle Beauvais, Tasha Smith, Tone Belle and more. Following the fuzzy purple carpet and screening, the cast, crew, and guests continued the celebration at a post-reception at The Metrograph.

Aside from their guests Samuel L. Jackson and his wife, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Judge Greg Mathis and his wife, Linda Mathis along with Vicki and John Palmer, Michael Jordan and his wife, Yvette Prieto recently joined the cruise, reports Essence. According to the outlet, the exquisite group recently dined at world famous restaurant Michelangelo in Antibes, France, where they were hosted by the owner, Mike “Mamo” Mammoliti.
