CPL 2023 fixtures confirmed

The fixtures and venues for the 2023 Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) have been confirmed with the tournament taking place from Aug. 16 to Sept. 24. The tournament would be taking place in St. Lucia, St. Kitts & Nevis, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana.

The tournament begins in St. Lucia with six matches being played at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground between Aug. 16 and Aug. 20 and then moves to St. Kitts and Nevis with six matches being played at Warner Park Sporting Complex between Aug. 23 and 27.

From there, the tournament makes its way to Barbados, with six matches scheduled for Kensington Oval, where there would be excitement about the tournament’s return since the CPL will be returning to Barbados for the first time since 2019. These matches will take place from Aug. 30 to Sept. 3.

The action will shift from Barbados to Trinidad and Tobago from Sept. 5 to Sept. 10 where six matches will be played at a venue in Trinidad.

The final leg of the tournament will take place in Guyana with matches taking place from Sept.13 to Sept. 24. The knockout stages will be held in Guyana again in 2023, with the excitement already building up after the successful running of the final last season.
