Chief Election Officer directed again to revise timeframe for local gov’t polls

Chief Election Officer (CEO) Vishnu Persaud has provided an updated work plan to the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) which indicates that the Secretariat would be ready to host Local Government Elections (LGE) no earlier than January 30, 2023.
