Bolt seeks missing $12.7 million from Jamaican investment firm

An investigation is ongoing as to ascertain how sprint legend, Usain Bolt on how $12.7 million has disappeared from his account with a Jamaican investment firm and is willing to take the case to court if necessary, Boltโ€™s attorney, Linton Gordon said.
This has sparked criticism over the governmentโ€™s handling of the case already. One top official was forced to resign in the wake of one of the largest fraud scandals to hit the Caribbean island.
A top official with Bank of Jamaica will take his place as the investigation continues into the Stocks and Securities Ltd. (SSL), a firm based in the capital, Kingston.
Bolt last week was informed that his account balance at Kingston-based Stocks and Securities Ltd. had inexplicably dwindled to just $12,000, lawyer Gordon said.
