India completed a 3-0 sweep with 119-run win on the Duck/Lewis method in the rain-affected third and final One-Day international at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain last Wednesday.
Sent in to bat by West Indies, India openers Shubman Gill and Shikhar Dhawan continued their prolific series putting on 113 runs for the first wicket in 22.5 overs.
However, the India pair did not take the match away from the West Indies scoring at around five runs an over throughout the partnership.
Leg spinner Hayden Walsh Jnr. got the breakthrough as Dhawan found West Indies Captain Nicholas Pooran caught at midwicket.

Following the dismissal, rain stopped play at 11.15 a.m. with India on 115 after 24 overs.

Play resumed after a two and half hour delay.
India progressed to 225/3 in 36 overs before rain interrupted play again leaving Gill stranded on 97.
Walsh Jnr. was the pick of the bowlers taking 2/57 in eight overs.
Chasing a revised target of 257 in 35 overs, West Indies got off to a dismal start. Kyle Mayers was bowled and Shamarh Brooks was given out LBW as pacer Mohammed Sirk grabbed two quick wickets before West Indies got off the mark.
West Indies was in desperate need for a partnership with the score on 118/5 after 21 overs. The innings folded quickly as the West Indies team was all out for 137 in 26 overs.
