WI finishes 11th in Under-19 Cricket World Cup
West Indies ended its International Cricket Council (ICC) Cricket World Cup campaign in a disappointing 11th position, which was won by India after defeating England in the final on Saturday at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.
Asked to chase a modest 190, India overhauled their target with 14 balls to spare.
The ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was played for the first time in the Caribbean, which featured 16 teams across several venues.
Man-of-the Match Raj Bawa excelled with both bat and ball, taking five wickets for 31 as he ripped through the England batting and making 35 not out.
Sri Lanka had booted out the West Indies in the Super League stage with a dramatic victory by three wickets with 10 balls to spare.
West Indies had scored 250 off their 50 overs in the Group D match in St. Kitts last month.
