West Indies Women trio sponsors BCB female tournament

West Indies senior women trio, Shabika Gajnabi, Shemaine Campbelle and Sheneta Grimmond have teamed up with the Berbice Cricket Board to sponsor a 40-over women’s tournament later this year.
 This is according to a release from the Board which stated, “Rose Hall town Metro, the defending champions would be the heavy favourites to retain their title but can expect a strong challenge from West Berbice and New Amsterdam/Canje.”
 The initiative was finalized last Wednesday when President of the BCB, Hilbert Foster met with the three Berbicians.
 “The strong RHT Metro team would include four West Indies players and a number of national and Berbice players.
