Sen Kevin Parker honors Dr. Tamara Moise for outstanding community service
NYS Senator Kevin Parker bestowed a prestigious honor on Dr. Tamara Moise, co-founder/CEO and medical director of the esteemed Big Apple Urgent Care in Brooklyn for her unwavering commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services to the community, alongside her dedicated team on July 15.
According to a release, a proclamation was presented to Dr. Moise, of Haitian descent, at her Church Avenue office. She was also honored by the 8th Annual “I Rise” ANS Association Ceremony for the work she is doing in the community.
“Dr. Moise is an outstanding medical professional who exemplifies dedication, compassion and a deep commitment to serving her community,” said Senator Parker, who is intimately familiar with the needs of his ethnically diverse Brooklyn district.
As the Chairman of the Senate Energy and Telecommunications Committee, Sen. Parker, who sits on the Senate Finance, Rules, Banks, Internet and Technology and Budget and Revenue, applauded Dr. Moise’s unwavering work in her community.
“Her tireless efforts, along with the exceptional care provided by her team at Big Apple Urgent Care, have undoubtedly improved countless lives. It is an honor to recognize her as an invaluable asset to our district and to support her remarkable work,” he noted.
Dr. Moise, in collaboration with her highly skilled Physician Assistant, Wadson Fils, has revolutionized urgent care service provision within the Borough. Their dedication and compassion have been instrumental in meeting the healthcare needs of the community, particularly those in underserved areas.
