โThe water park will be an added attraction to the inviting resort that already has a lot of tourists arriving every week. We still hope to be more competitive, as we look also at increasing our marketing drive through an online portal,โ said Moore.
โWe have partnered with international booking agencies for holiday stays to be seamless. Right now, weโre on track to becoming the best tourist spot in the country,โ said Moore.
The tourist attraction offers an array of enjoyment for a minimal entrance fee of GUY$7.00, as such the tropical spot has saw a spike over the recent Easter season, with all cabins being sold out during that period, he shared.
According to Moore, the resort has had its shares of woes, but has withstand the test of time, since it was launched in 1985. After a change of government in 2016, and a decline in business, the retreat struggled, later finding its footing after a robust marketing strategy, reopening in 1997, then came the pandemic.
He noted that Lake Mainstay is a different experience from other tourist attractions, because of its relaxing atmosphere, with a trademark of cleanliness and delectable cuisine, adding that Lake Mainstay is affordable, to all tourists.
