Miss Mash Queen Guyana to celebrate 53rd Republic Anniversary and Mashramani
America-based organizer of the Miss Mash Queen Guyana 2023, LadyAnn Sears, told Caribbean Life that “Simpli Royal” is poised to produce the edition of the pageant, starting with a launch dubbed “EMERGENCE” on Feb.10, at the prestigious Theater Guild, then on to the Coronation on March 4, at the historic Promenade Gardens.
The contestants are Oneka Solomon, Towana Fortune, Kimberley English, Nkira Murray, and Miriam Alexander.
“We think this event will help provide a catalyst for our “One Guyana” quest.
“We are poised to have a lineup of the sensational seven; beauty ambassadors who can represent our sponsors and our country from launch to coronation and beyond, she added.
A welcome event at the airport, selling the show, will be held on Feb. 17. The delegates will then participate in the Mash parade on Feb. 23, and a Meet and Greet, at retail outlets of sponsors on Feb. 24. This schedule of activities will be used as a platform to showcase the delegates and the show as well as the sponsors.
The Last Lap will be a motorcade on March 1, and a production of a six-part reality show for television.
“We are still securing sponsorship for the National Wear and Swimwear segments of the show. We believe that, with our support this pageant will lay the foundation for the Miss Mash Queen International productions which could see Regional and International participation from the Caribbean, South America, Europe, North America and further afield,” said the organizers.
“Our collaboration will not only help market Guyana but, together, we will celebrate strong, committed young women because, in supporting the role models of today, we strengthen our collective tomorrows. We will contribute by helping the delegates develop and refine personal attributes that will assist them throughout their lives,” states the release.
