Break Up Alert! Tiffany Haddish and Common have gone their separate ways after dating for a year and a half. An insider told People Magazine, “They are never in the same city together and both of them are just too busy for a serious relationship.” The Girls Trip actress first revealed she and the Oscar winning rapper were an item in August 2020 when they quarantined together after the pandemic shut the world down. The former couple reportedly originally met in 2019 after working on the movie The Kitchen. Haddish was previously married to William Stewart whom she split from in 2013. Common has never been married. However, he shares 24-year-old daughter, Omeye Lynn with ex- Kim Jones.

New York City Mayor-Elect Eric Adams attended the Nov. 24 evening performance of Thoughts of a Colored Man, his first Broadway play in his new position. The performance was also attended that night by Mary J. Blige, Tasha Smith, Sheryl Lee Ralph and her husband, Pennsylvania State Senator Vincent Hughes. The Golden Theatre was filled with an all Black male audience of New York City organizations including the Ford Foundation and Eagle Academy Foundation. Popular entertainers Luke James and Tristan Mack Wilds are part of the Thoughts of a Colored Man ensemble cast, the first Broadway show in history to be written, directed by, starring and lead produced by a Black man.

Tongues are wagging that Idris Elba paid homage to the late Virgil Abloh, former artistic director of Louis Vuitton menswear, backstage at The Fashion Awards at Royal Albert Hall if London on Nov. 29. Elba wore a Louis Vuitton baseball jacket. Abloh, who died Nov. 28 at 41 of a rare cancer, was the most powerful Black executive in the most powerful luxury group in the world. He took fashion to the next level with creations such as the black tennis tutu that Serena Williams wore at the 2018 U.S. Open.
