‘GENERATION OF KINGS’
Jamaican dancehall star Masicka on Friday dropped his much-anticipated “Generation of Kings.”
Jamaican entertainment publicist Ronnie Tomlinson told Caribbean Life that “Generation of Kings” is Masicka’s first album under the Def Jam Recordings label.
“This 17-track masterpiece showcases the global phenom’s dynamic range and solidifies his status as a force to be reckoned with in the music industry,” said Tomlinson, a Brooklyn resident, who serves as chief executive officer of Destine Media.
“The album opens with the intense and captivating track ‘Black Sheep,’ where Masicka’s emotionally charged delivery grabs hold of the listener from the start,” she added.
Tomlinson said Masick and co-dancehall artist Popcaan also collaborates on “Stars R Us” in showcasing “the duo’s undeniable chemistry.”
“Masicka’s powerful collaborations continue throughout the album, with features from renowned artists such as Spice on the upbeat ‘WOW,’” she said.
In addition, she said “Melody God” Fridayy collaborates with Masicka on “Wet,” in “further solidifying Masicka’s appeal to a diverse audience.”
“‘Generations of Kings’ takes listeners on a captivating listening experience, guaranteeing an extraordinary dancehall auditory voyage,” said Tomlinson, adding that “Masicka’s artistic brilliance shines brightly in each track, from the empowering anthem ‘Fight for Us’ to the introspective and emotionally evocative tones of ‘Broken Home’.
