Flatbush Central Caribbean Marketplace hosts weekend-long celebration ahead of Carnival Parade
As the sound of steel pans and other Caribbean music reverberate across Brooklyn, Flatbush Central Caribbean Marketplace (FCCM) — carnival-goers’ one-stop-shop for colorful traditional Caribbean flag attire and accessories – will once again be home of a weekend-long celebration, including live music and DJ’s, food tastings, pop-up shops, community health screenings, and extended overnight hours.
Additionally, the Marketplace will be launching its first ever giftbox entitled “Likkle Barrel,” featuring products by the FFCM legacy entrepreneurs.
Through FCCM’s technical assistance and business supports, FCCM said vendors are equipped to increase their skills, grow their enterprises, and build community wealth.
