WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) said yesterday its board of governors has elected Brazil’s Ilan Goldfajn as president of the financial institution, after Mauricio Claver-Carone, the first American to lead it, was ousted over ethics violations.
