Guyanese Natasha V. Dickson-Rudder crowned Ms. Full-Figured USA PA Swimwear 2023
Tall, beautiful, and bold, Guyanese-born Natasha V. Dickson-Rudder on June 17, captured the hearts of the judges at the inaugural Ms. Full-Figured Pageant, and was ultimately crowned Queen of Ms. Full-Figured USA PA Swimwear 2023, at the Robert Treat Hotel in Newark, New Jersey.
Her two-piece swimwear was designed from red, green, yellow, and black fabric, and finished with a white cape. The complete concept celebrated Guyana’s national treasures, the Golden Arrowhead flag, and the Coat of Arms, that was stamped at the back of the cape. The Queen continued the theme of country when she participated in the fashionista segment in a flag ensemble.
The eveningwear was capped off with a stunning green floor-length gown, designed with a plunging vee neck, and off-the-shoulder effect, and accessorized with diamante jewelry, and dazzling footwear.
Rudder, a mother of three beautiful daughters Melissa, Maliqua and Maquela, mother- in-law to Kadeen and Gerald, and grandmother to four, also won 2nd Runner Up-Ms. Full-Figured Exquisite USA PA 2023, and Ms. Full-Figured USA PA Community Service Award 2023 titles.
Rudder holds an associate degree in office technology, and bachelor’s in human services. She is pursuing a master’s in human services.

She told Caribbean Life recently, that she was excited to be a contestant in the Ms. Full Figured USA Pageant in the inaugural event of Pennsylvania where size has no barriers. She was also excited to showcase “my beautiful birth land Guyana in my swimsuit and fashionista segment.”
Born in the small village of Mocha, Rudder grew up in the community of McDoom on the East Bank of Demerara, before migrating to Flatbush, Brooklyn, where she lived and worked for several years.
Her new home in Walnutport, Pennsylvania, inspired her to participate in the state’s pageant, where she is employed as a human service worker in the Social Service Department.
The sixth of 10 children born to Doreen Paul and Alphonso Dickson, Rudder said, “I love helping people by sharing my time and resources to improve their lives. I love traveling, planning, and hosting family events. I consider myself multi-cultured and enjoy spending quality time with my family, friends, and colleagues.”
“I would like to give a special thank you to my children, family, and friends those who traveled from out of state to support me, also all the Guyanese businesses that endured my annoying calls regarding my flyers, outfits, and advertisements,” said the Queen, who over the years has served in Guyanese organizations while living in Brooklyn.
The Ms. Full-Figured USA Pageant founded in 1989 by Ms. Theresa Randolph & Jackie Epps is an organization of diverse women in age, race, shape, and size all located throughout the United States of America.
Ms. Full-Figured USA is one of the most well-established, respected, and long-standing beauty pageants. Its significance offers gorgeous ladies an opportunity to build a platform, enhance their career ambitions, foster meaningful relationships and to demonstrate that “size has no barrier on beauty.” Indeed, the average American woman is not model-thin, as shown in the magazines — huge numbers of them are considered “plus sized” by a short-sighted fashion industry, according to the Ms. Full-figured pageant website.
