Bikini Under the Bridge cancer awareness runway show for July 24
In an effort to increase awareness around breast cancer, the community’s most appreciated event – Bikini Under the Bridge will introduce the new Jeneration Z Mastectomy swimsuit wear collection at its Sunday, July 24 fashion runway show, at the elegant, 26 Bridge St. loft in Downtown Brooklyn.
The JRG Entertainment showcase will return to its annual spectacular with a 6 p.m. — 6:45 p.m. Pink Catwalk kickoff, before models take to the runway at 7pm, for an evening of exciting high fashion collections.
Twelve special and incredibly brave breast cancer survivors, including Geralyn Lucas, American journalist, TV producer, writer and longtime advocate for breast cancer awareness, and NYC Metropolitan Hospital’s General Surgeon specializing in Breast Cancer Care, Dr. Anitha Srinivasan, will be on hand to receive tributes, as part of the very important consciousness of which the New York City Health and Hospitals is part sponsor.
A portion of the event’s proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society, said CEO of JRG Entertainment, Junior Giddings, who added that supporting this very important cause is vital, needed, welcomed, and appreciated.
