Former Trini football star to coach in Australia

Former Trinidad and Tobago international footballer, Dwight Yorke has been appointed as head coach of Australian-A League Men’s (ALM) side Macarthur FC.
The 50 year-old former Manchester United striker has signed a deal to lead the Bulls for the next two seasons starting July 1, in his first-ever senior full- time coaching role.
In a statement announcing the appointment, Bull’s CEO Sam Krslovic said York’s football exposure and achievements speak volumes for themselves and having him  taken up the role of head coach of the young club “is synonymous with our evolution” .
As well as playing for Manchester United, Yorke had stunts with Aston Villa, Blackburn Rivers Birmingham City and Sunderland.
He also has experience in Australian football, having been Sydney FC’s marque player in the inaugural ALM season in 2005/2006.
