Jamaica first in Caribbean to receive COVID vaccines from COVAX
With Guyana still awaiting word on its allotment, Jamaica today received 14,400 doses of COVID-19 vaccines through the COVAX Facility, the first country in the Caribbean to benefit from the mechanism which has come in for strong criticism over its inability to meet commitments.
